30th Anniversary Edition - Higher Education

30th Anniversary Edition - Higher Education: In one of Diverse’s largest issues this year, we cover the issues and people that have impacted the past 30 years of diversity in higher education, including standardized testing, legal battles, the growth of women presidents at HBCUs and gender imbalance on college campuses. The issue also profiles the Mellon Mays Undergraduate Fellowship Program, an initiative created 30 years ago to encourage more minority professors.

Another feature highlights Dr. James M. Rosser, recipient of the 2014 John Hope Franklin Award. In addition, Diverse takes a closer look at the rise and changing nature of the community college in the U.S.
